Phone and communications

The company publishes a number it can actually answer. Clients, banks, and this desk use it. Availability still follows the country. We do not promise a US number on every company.

A personal mobile that only the founder holds is a fragile contact. We put a business number on Twilio where that country sells numbers, on Google Voice for a United States Workspace, or on Microsoft Teams when the tenant already has calling. Where a bank wants a local number in the UAE, Singapore, or Pakistan, that is a local operator file, often through counsel — not a foreign VoIP number we pretend is presence. The number is billed to the company and printed on the website next to the company mailbox.

How we work

From shortlist to a filed application

  1. 1

    What they will accept

We check whether the bank or the counterpart needs a local number, or whether a provisioned business number is enough.

  2. 2

    Provision

Twilio, Google Voice, Teams, or a local operator — in the company’s name.

  3. 3

    Publish

The number goes on the website next to the company mailbox. Someone has to answer it.

A number the company can publish

Clients, banks, and this desk need a number that belongs to the company. A personal mobile that changes, or a number that only works in one WhatsApp account, is not that. Number availability still follows country rules. We do not promise a US or UK geographic number on every company.

  • Twilio is how we provision a business number in many of the countries that sell numbers to companies. Voice, SMS, and forwarding can sit on the company account, billed to the company, with the company email as the login. It is not a local mobile contract. Some countries will not issue numbers without a local presence; Twilio will say so.

We brief this where Twilio sells numbers for the company country. Availability is not universal.

    How we help

We open Twilio in the company’s name, buy the number the country allows, and forward it to the people who should answer. Twilio and the local regulator decide whether that number exists.

  • Google Voice

    voice.google.com

Google Voice can give a United States company a reachable number inside Google Workspace. It is a US product. It is not a substitute for a UAE, UK, or Pakistan geographic number. The licence has to sit on the company Workspace, not on a personal Gmail.

We brief this on United States companies that already use Google Workspace.

    How we help

When the company is a US entity on Google Workspace, we add Voice and publish the number on the website. Google decides.

  • Microsoft Teams calling

    www.microsoft.com

When the company is on Microsoft 365, Teams can hold a calling plan and a number in countries Microsoft supports. It keeps voice next to the mailbox. It is not available in every country we form in.

We brief this on companies that use Microsoft 365, in countries where Teams calling is sold.

    How we help

We add calling on the company tenant where Microsoft sells it, and publish the number. Microsoft decides.

Local numbers

Some banks and counterparties still want a number in the company country. That is a local operator or a licensed VoIP file, often through counsel, not a personal SIM in the founder’s name.

  • LO

    Local operator numbers

A UAE, Singapore, or Pakistan company may need a number that a local bank will actually ring. Those numbers follow local licensing. We do not invent a US Twilio number and call it an Emirates presence. Where a visit or a local ID is required, that is part of the country file.

We brief this when the company country or the bank requires a local number. See the formation country page for visit rules.

    How we help

We confirm what the bank or the counterpart will accept, then instruct local counsel or a licensed operator. The operator decides.

Provider lists are indicative. We confirm current availability during consultation. Official websites open in a new tab; Brikseka is not those companies, and we do not guarantee their approval.

Frequently asked questions

Can you get me a UK or US number from Pakistan?

Sometimes, through Twilio or Google Voice, when that product sells the number to the company. It is not the same as a local UK high-street presence. We say so. Some countries will not issue the number without local identity.

Is WhatsApp enough?

As a channel, perhaps. As the only published contact on a banking file, no. We still want a number and a mailbox that belong to the company.

Who answers the number?

The company. We can forward it. We are not a call centre. The advisory desk is a separate thread for the mandate.
