Business accounts

The account is opened in the company’s name. Where the provider onboards remotely, we file it ourselves. Where a high-street bank wants a visit, we instruct local counsel in that country.

Every institution on this page is one we brief against companies we form — Wise and Payoneer on most files, UAE and Singapore banks on those licences, Pakistani banks on an SECP company, and domestic banks through lawyers where a visit is required. Approvals are decided by the banks. BVI, Cayman, Seychelles, Belize, and Nevis are not a starter account.

How we work

From shortlist to a filed application

  1. 1

    Match

We shortlist the account that fits the company country: a remote EMI, a UAE digital bank, or a high-street file with counsel.

  2. 2

    File

We prepare KYC in the company’s name. For a local bank, we instruct counsel in that country.

  3. 3

    Decision

The provider decides. A visit, Emirates ID, or extra diligence may still be required.

Remote accounts

These are the accounts we file ourselves, in the company’s name, when the entity country allows remote onboarding. They are electronic-money or payment-institution accounts unless noted. Approval is decided by the provider.

  • Wise Business

    www.wise.com

Wise Business is the account we brief first on most companies we form. It is opened in the company’s name, not as a Pakistan-resident personal signup. It holds multiple currencies. It is not a deposit-insured bank.

We brief this on 35 countries we form in, including United Kingdom, United States, and Estonia.

    How we help

We form the company, put the corporate documents and company-domain email on the file, and submit in the company’s name. A UK Ltd is the cleanest Wise file we prepare. Wise decides.

  • Payoneer is a receiving account used by exporters and by companies in countries that cannot take a native Stripe merchant account. It also issues a card. KYC is case-by-case.

We brief this on 7 countries we form in, including United Kingdom, United States, and Estonia, and as a receiving account for Pakistani exporters.

    How we help

We match Payoneer to the entity — or to a Pakistan export profile where that is the brief — prepare KYC, and stay with the file. Payoneer decides.

  • Airwallex is a payment-institution account for companies that need multi-currency balances and payouts. Remote onboarding is the point. Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United Kingdom are the files we brief most often.

We brief this on Hong Kong and Singapore companies.

    How we help

We form the company in a country Airwallex accepts, prepare the KYC pack, and submit. Airwallex decides.

  • Aspire is a Singapore-based business account for Pte Ltd companies that need SGD and multi-currency operations without walking into DBS on day one.

We brief this on Singapore companies.

    How we help

We form the Singapore company (including the nominee director where required), prepare the Aspire file, and submit. Aspire decides.

  • Statrys is a Hong Kong money-service operator used as the first account on a Hong Kong company, and as an EMI path on some Singapore files, before a high-street bank is realistic.

We brief this on Hong Kong and Singapore companies.

    How we help

We form the company, appoint the secretary where required, and prepare the Statrys application. Statrys decides.

  • Revolut Business

    www.revolut.com

Revolut Business is an electronic-money account with multi-currency balances and cards. On an Estonian company it typically needs an EEA, UK, or Swiss resident on the board. It is not a substitute for LHV when the brief is a local Estonian bank.

We brief this on Estonia companies.

    How we help

We confirm the board can meet Revolut’s residency rule, prepare the company file, and submit. Revolut decides.

United States

US fintechs onboard US LLCs. Several have been residence-restricted for Pakistani ultimate owners. We treat them as a later attempt, not a promise.

  • Mercury is a financial technology company offering business accounts for US companies, not a chartered bank. Eligibility has tightened for non-US residents. We do not lead with Mercury as a guarantee.

We brief this on United States companies.

    How we help

We form the US company, obtain the EIN, and prepare a Mercury file only when the ownership profile is one they currently accept. Mercury decides.

  • Relay is a US business-account and spend platform for US entities. Like Mercury, it is underwriting-led. Residence restrictions apply.

We brief this on United States companies.

    How we help

We prepare the US company pack and submit where Relay is a fit. Relay decides.

  • Brex is a US corporate-card and account platform aimed at venture-backed and high-spend companies. It is not the default first account on a Wyoming LLC formed for a Pakistani founder.

We brief this on United States companies.

    How we help

We only brief Brex when the company profile matches what they currently underwrite. Brex decides.

United Arab Emirates

UAE banking is a sequence: a digital bank first, then a traditional bank after Emirates ID. Non-resident owners face extra diligence. We prepare the file; local counsel attends where a visit is required.

  • Wio is a UAE digital bank we brief first on a licensed free-zone company. It is the practical account before Mashreq or RAKBANK will look at the file.

We brief this on United Arab Emirates companies.

    How we help

We form the free-zone company, prepare the Wio KYC pack, and submit. Wio decides.

  • Mashreq is a UAE traditional bank. Business accounts typically follow Emirates ID and a stronger substance file than Wio. Pakistani ultimate owners face extra diligence.

We brief this on United Arab Emirates companies.

    How we help

We prepare the corporate pack and instruct UAE counsel for the appointment. A visit is usual. Mashreq decides.

  • RAKBANK is a Ras Al Khaimah bank used on RAKEZ and similar free-zone companies after the digital-bank step. Emirates ID and a visit are the usual path.

We brief this on United Arab Emirates companies.

    How we help

We form the company, prepare KYC, and instruct local counsel for the branch appointment. RAKBANK decides.

Hong Kong and Singapore

High-street banks here want presence and substance. The remote path is Statrys, Airwallex, or Aspire. We instruct local counsel when a visit to HSBC, DBS, or a peer is the brief.

  • Hang Seng is a Hong Kong bank. Business accounts typically want presence in Hong Kong and a real operating story. It is not the remote default on a newly filed company.

We brief this on Hong Kong companies.

    How we help

We form the Hong Kong company and instruct local counsel for the bank meeting. A visit is usual. Hang Seng decides.

  • HSBC is the high-street name on Hong Kong (and some UK) files. It wants presence and substance. We do not brief HSBC as a remote account from Karachi.

We brief this on Hong Kong companies.

    How we help

We prepare the corporate pack and instruct local counsel for the appointment. HSBC decides.

  • DBS is a Singapore bank. Opening typically requires an in-person appointment, including the local nominee director on a Pte Ltd.

We brief this on Singapore companies.

    How we help

We form the Singapore company, coordinate the nominee, and instruct Singapore counsel for the bank visit. DBS decides.

  • OCBC is a Singapore bank with the same in-person pattern as DBS. It is a local-counsel file, not a remote EMI.

We brief this on Singapore companies.

    How we help

We instruct Singapore counsel, prepare KYC, and attend through the nominee where required. OCBC decides.

  • UOB is the third Singapore high-street bank we brief alongside DBS and OCBC. In-person, with the nominee, is the usual path.

We brief this on Singapore companies.

    How we help

We prepare the Pte Ltd pack and instruct local counsel for the appointment. UOB decides.

Estonia

An Estonian OÜ can take Wise remotely. A local Estonian bank is a different file.

  • LHV is an Estonian bank. Business accounts want substance in Estonia and often a visit. It is not the same product as e-Residency plus Wise.

We brief this on Estonia companies.

    How we help

We form the OÜ and instruct Estonian counsel for the LHV file when a local bank is the brief. LHV decides.

Pakistan

A Pakistan company banks in Pakistan. We prepare the KYC pack; the bank’s branch does the rest. Stripe is not available as a merchant account on this entity.

  • Habib Bank is one of the Pakistani business banks we prepare files for after SECP incorporation and FBR registration.

We brief this on Pakistan companies.

    How we help

We form the company, complete NTN, assemble the KYC pack, and introduce the branch. HBL decides.

  • Meezan is a Pakistani Islamic bank used for company current accounts where the client wants a Shariah-compliant account.

We brief this on Pakistan companies.

    How we help

We prepare the same SECP and FBR pack and introduce Meezan’s branch. Meezan decides.

  • MCB is a Pakistani commercial bank we brief alongside HBL and Meezan for the company current account.

We brief this on Pakistan companies.

    How we help

We assemble the KYC pack after incorporation and introduce the branch. MCB decides.

  • ES

    ESFCA

An Exporter Special Foreign Currency Account is a State Bank product opened at a Pakistani bank, for eligible exporters who need to hold foreign currency. It is not a separate bank.

We brief this on Pakistan companies where the exporter profile qualifies.

    How we help

We confirm eligibility, prepare the exporter file, and instruct the company’s Pakistani bank to open the account. The bank and SBP rules decide.

United Kingdom high street

UK high-street banks usually want UK presence. They are not the remote default on a Ltd formed from abroad. Wise is the first account; Barclays or a peer is a later, in-person file.

  • Barclays is the UK high-street example we name. Opening typically wants UK presence or a relationship the bank already understands. It is not a remote application from Karachi.

We brief this on United Kingdom companies when presence makes a high-street account realistic.

    How we help

We form the Ltd, open Wise first where that is the brief, and instruct UK counsel if a high-street appointment is justified. Barclays decides.

Domestic banks, through local counsel

On most other countries we form in, the first remote account is Wise or Payoneer. A local bank is a separate mandate: we instruct counsel in that country, and a visit or real substance is usual. We do not pretend those banks onboard from abroad.

  • CB

    Canadian banks

Canadian business banks often require an in-person appointment for non-residents. Wise is the remote account on a BC or Ontario corporation.

We brief this on Canada companies.

    How we help

We form the Canadian company and instruct Canadian counsel for the bank appointment when a local account is the brief. The bank decides.

  • EH

    European high-street banks

Irish, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Belgian, Polish, Romanian, Cypriot, Maltese, Baltic, Nordic, Swiss, and Luxembourg banks typically expect presence, a local identification number, or substance in that country. Wise is the remote account we open first.

We brief this on the European companies we form, after the remote account, when the owners can show the presence the bank requires.

    How we help

We form the company and instruct local counsel when a domestic account is justified. A visit is usual. The bank decides.

  • SQ

Saudi, Qatari, Bahraini, Omani, and Kuwaiti banks

These Gulf banks are in-person files. Saudi accounts often need an Iqama. We do not brief a remote EMI as the local operating account in these countries.

We brief this on Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and Kuwait companies.

    How we help

We form the company and instruct local counsel for the bank visit. The bank decides.

  • AP

    Asia-Pacific domestic banks

Malaysian, Thai, Japanese, Korean, Indonesian, Philippine, Vietnamese, Australian, and New Zealand banks typically require a visit, and often a work permit or local identification. Wise is listed on some of these countries as the remote account where the provider accepts the entity.

We brief this on the Asia-Pacific companies we form outside Hong Kong and Singapore.

    How we help

We form the company and instruct local counsel for the bank appointment. The bank decides.

  • AD

    African domestic banks

South African, Kenyan, Ghanaian, Nigerian, Rwandan, and Mauritian banks typically expect presence. Payoneer is listed on some of these files as a receiving account. KIFC is a separate Rwanda conversation.

We brief this on the African companies we form.

    How we help

We form the company and instruct local counsel for account opening. The bank decides.

  • LA

    Latin American banks

Mexican, Brazilian, Panamanian, Costa Rican, and Uruguayan banks typically expect presence, and often a tax number (RFC, CPF/CNPJ). Panama is difficult for non-resident owners. Wise is listed on Mexico where the entity is accepted.

We brief this on the Latin American companies we form.

    How we help

We form the company and instruct local counsel. The bank decides.

Not a banking product

Some companies we form are not a path to a starter business account. We say so on the country page instead of listing a bank we cannot open.

  • BC

BVI, Cayman, Seychelles, Belize, and Nevis

Reputable electronic-money institutions typically will not open on these companies. Cayman banking is for fund structures with counsel, not a starter merchant account. Nevis is not a merchant-account jurisdiction.

These five countries are offered as companies. They are not offered as a banking setup.

    How we help

We only form these companies when the brief is the company itself — not a bank or a Stripe account. If the aim is an operating account, we brief a different country.

Provider lists are indicative. We confirm current availability during consultation. Official websites open in a new tab; Brikseka is not those companies, and we do not guarantee their approval.

Frequently asked questions

Do you open the account yourselves?

Remote accounts — Wise, Payoneer, Airwallex, Aspire, Statrys, Wio — we file in the company’s name. High-street banks (HSBC, DBS, Mashreq, LHV, Pakistani branches, European retail banks) are opened with local counsel, and usually a visit. We say which is which on this page.

Can a Pakistan-resident owner open Wise as a personal account?

That is not the product we brief. Wise Business is opened in the foreign company’s name after incorporation. A personal Pakistan signup is a different, weaker file.

Will Mercury or Brex onboard a Pakistani owner?

Often not. Several US fintechs have been residence-restricted. We form the US company and treat Mercury, Relay, and Brex as a later attempt, not a promise.
